Nela Ruiz is a film, TV, and video game composer based in Argentina. She has composed original scores for the feature film "Dokita Musa" and the documentary "Romy Tschopp: Rising Beyond Limits", serving as the main composer for both. She also contributed to the indie feature "I Will Not Take Care of You" (Apple TV), which screened at over 60 international film festivals and received multiple awards. Her other projects include orchestral hybrid scores for the award-winning animated films "Darwin the Dreamer"
and "Kopakonan: The Seal Woman".

She has also provided additional music for the feature film "Tried By Fire" and composed epic orchestral pieces for the Marvel: Snap YouTube channel and the Horror Skunx Channel, the latter amassing over 15 million views. Her video game scoring credits include the whimsical indie adventures Kiku’s Magic Hat and ForgeMaster.

Currently, she is composing the score for a feature film as the main composer, working on an upcoming documentary, and creating the full soundtrack for a video game.
 

Originally from Venezuela, Nela’s musical journey began with the guitar, eventually leading her to pursue composition. After moving to Argentina, she studied sound technology and music production, launching her career by creating music for advertising. She has collaborated with both local and international brands, including Marvel, PnA, Mitsubishi, and Purina.
